Anyone can volunteer at the Park! Whether you come alone or are part of a group,  there is an opportunity to give back to your community.

The Concord Community Park offers Volunteer programs for children and adults of all ages.

Volunteer programs include:

Field and Horticulture Programs

Become part of a team of volunteers that help keep the Concord Community Park beautiful by maintaining and enhancing its landscapes. Our projects include; planting, mulching, raking, weeding, pruning, and painting. Open to individuals, families and groups.

Greeter & Guide

Join our group of friendly, knowledgeable, greeter/guides in providing information, giving tours, handing out sport and game equipment, and/or helping enhance the overall experience for all the Concord Community Park’s visitors.

Corporate “Day In The Dirt” Programs

The “Day in the Dirt” program offers a unique opportunity for corporate groups to promote volunteerism and environmental stewardship while building employee cohesiveness and camaraderie.

Youth and Family Programs

Participate in the Youth Education and Service Programs and learn hands-on about the Park while helping preserve its landscapes. During the spring and fall, families can participate in the “Keeping It Green” program by helping with raking and mulching projects.

Throughout the year the Park hosts community events. Help hide Easter eggs, decorate a Christmas Tree, hand out candy and prizes on Halloween, show children how to plant bulbs, work with the Farmer’s Market or other special events. Do you have an idea? We would love to hear them at info@communityprojects.ca.
